MKV most likely I am absolutely in love with it. I just dont know how long its going to be before I get it, might not be until late winter or spring. I think once I get my career sorted out and get things in place I will put my money down on one. I feel like even maybe I can find a good deal on an R32 by then.
you'll love the MKV. its such a fun car. i would personally pass on the R32, unless youre really wanting the all wheel drive. in that case, just get an Audi. in my opinion, i'd just get the GTI and use the money you saved from getting the R32 to mod the GTI. chip, intake, exhaust, and youre smoking R32s. plus the R doesnt come in manual, which i think blows.
good point on the transmission, I would rather spend the money on the mods too. I'll definitely be coming to you for advice when it comes time. Thanks buddy! :mounty:
some updates regarding the road rally this coming sunday: very unfortunately slanguage will not be able to attend the race with my anymore, due to his work schedule :-(. the rally was rained out and moved to this sunday, so i had to find someone to serve as navigator in rogers place. its unfortunate that roger cant make it, as he is the one that originally brought up the idea of doing the race in the first place. i have asked a friend of mine to co-pilot/navigate for me. with that, we will be having some more "tech upgrades" to the vehicle for the race. we will have some kind of cannon DSLR with us, netbook laptop, and power inverter. we will be doing live updates DURING the race with pics and videos, which i will make a thread for on DB the night previous (saturday night). we will also have the capability to run live GPS and maps on the netbook, in addition to the two mounted GPS units we'll be running. even though its only a 150 miles i think and surely no gumball 3000 style rally, i figure why not go all out!
