Sexy's back...As some of you may have already seen we had J's R32 back in for more thorough TLC after the quickie we did at the Show n' Shine. This time J wanted the whole hog including the wheels, arches, motor, interior basically everything on the car was to be pampered :applause2: Right onto some photies, at least we managed to snap a few quick befores of this sexy lady before we started work on her Nothing too crazy, just the usual road grime, etc accumulated from driving in the rain. \ Wheels were the usual, brake dust and dirt all over but the fronts looked ok anyways Tailpipes were looking really tired and would need some work Onto the cleaning and considering the amount of work to be done on this beauty we got right to it starting with the wheels and arches/brakes. Wheels off to reveal the barrels and arches along with the enormous rotors and calipers Wheels got the usual Sonax Xtreme Rim Cleaner followed by Sonax Tar Remover followed by a quick clay and then sealed up with Smartwax Rimwax leaving is with these results... Calipers were treated to Sonax Xtreme Rim Cleaner followed with Meg's APC and then sealed with Smartwax Rimwax as well. Came out pretty well IMO Arches were next and given a good scrubbing with Meg's APC and various brushes (twice) rinsed with the pressure washer and then sealed up with 303 Aerospace Protectant. And wheels back on with the calipers peeking through With the wheels out of the way day 1 was wound up by restoring the beautiful Milltek tailpieces to their former glory. The tools of the trade for this one was our secret scourer pads for the insides followed by Sonax Metal Polish on the outers to bring back the bling. Before and after Day 2 on the R started with getting the car washed, clayed and taped up for the correction work along with sorting out the interior. Unfortunately not many pics from this stage (no particular reason other than forgetting the camera inside and being lazy :sorry: ). The surface was pretty free from contaminants and the interior was neat aside form a little dust and the usual. 2 quick after pics (not the greatest I know) from the interior. Day 3 began with another quick rinse to remove any dust that may have settled on the paint followed by the paint correction. A combination of SIP, 106FA and various LC CCS pads were used followed by yet another wash and then sealed up with a layer of Poor Boys EX Sealant topped with 2 layers of Sonax Xtreme Wax. Overall we were blown away by the dripping wet finish but I'll let the following mix of random after pics do the talking :headbang: A closeup of the paint after correction, overall we achieved around 95% correction with only a few very mild RIDS remaining here and there. Some more pic's out of the glaring sun and showing some reflections At the end of the day we were sad to see this sexy beast go, I for onw quite enjoyed looking out of the window seeing her in all her glory parked under the lights :bawling: Thanks again for looking :thumb:

Thanks again guys If it wasnt' for DB and all the fantastic mentors I have met on here (JL, Nica, Ken, Ketil, Phil, anyone else I may have forgotten) along with all the contributors it wouldn't have been possible. Everytime I log onto this forum I am almost guarenteed to pick up some small tidbit or tip that will in some way improve our work. Big up to all you guys :thumb:
