Well guys looks like Richy isnt the only one that has had a rotten day. I was on my way to a class (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support). Three dogs were running across the 4 lane. Two stopped to get something out of the road and the other one kept going. Lucky me. I was on the phone with my g/f @ the time. She heard it it. It started smoking and making an aweful racket. I though I had a blow out. Not that lucky. Hit the bumper, knocked out the marker light, broked a chunk out of the passenger side behind the marker light, front half of the inner fender well broke off and got caught between the tire and rear wheel well. There was anti-freeze spewing out from underneath. You can actually see where it was spewing out in the pics. I had to call the MHP (for incident report for $hitz n giggles basically), wrecker svc and insurance company (Actuallly paid my insurance YESTERDAY). So, my significant other is sitting at a body shop now waiting for repair soon. If it wouldnt have messed up the radiator, I'd fix it myself. I can get a new take off bumper painted for $200 plus shipping and I've got another set of marker lights in storage (factory). Went to class and had to dwell on the fact my baby is sitting @ a body shop and I cant do anything about it. I wanted to order parts so bad!!!!!!!!!! Ive been looking for parts since I got home, but I dont really know what is tore up with the cooling system. Here's some pics. Car was washed last weekend, ObsessiveDetail Glaze, BFAFPP, topped with SV Insickness. The marker light was hanging. I unhooked the bulb and put it in the car. Chunk missing out of bumper below Anti freeze stain on lower bumper. There is a piece missing here where stain is. Hopefully look like this again!! Richy, sorry to hear about your day brotha!! Yeah man. It was a pretty lousy day. Man I swear right after it happened, I was like, I know right where to order a bumper already painted, extra marker lights in storage, but that busted radiator( i think) really got me. I knew I would have to put it in the shop. I called back the insurance company. They said deductible could be $250-500 depending on what the adjuster says. So if its too much, I'll just get the radiator repaired and do the rest myself. Thanks Justin!!!! appreciate it man!

Thanks Roger!! I'm sure it will get better. I made the next to the last car payment today. One down, one to go and in two weeks, its mine!!!! I left class today, stopped by K-Mart and bought a viking drying towel. Thats a very nice towel to be OTC. Yeah, so much for TGIF
Yeah, the dog was crossing the road in front of me. 2 had stopped to pick something up in the road and he/she just kept going. I was in the right lane. I guess I could have gone off the road and tried to avoid the dog, but I was doing 70 and I've seen so many ppl over the years being a medic, try to avoid an animal and having a mvc, that winds up being worse than if they had hit the animal. Sucks, but I know what ya mean...I have seen/read of people trying to avoid and then just loose control and end up in a poll, ditch for end over end... Time for a beer or a strong drink for you as well, ha.
Yeah Ank, I've picked up many many people over the years. Its funny but alot of times, they'll run off the road into a field and hit the only tree or light pole in a 100 yard radius. I've seen that so many times. One poor guy had his blood sugar bottom out and he hit a light pole in this huge field. Another guy fell asleep and hit a car that was off the side of the interstate. Poor guy. I felt bad for him.

Insurance agent called this morning. He told me the adjuster would be there today to look at it and get the estimate from the body shop. My deductible is $250. So it wont be as bad as I thought it was gonna be.
