Guys, I'm REALLY not wanting to introduce clearcoat marring...my paint is flawless right now. But, I want to add more layers of Zaino, and I know I need to clay before I seal.

I'm gonna load the ONR on the paint, practically waste it...and rub with no pressure, but which one clay would you say is the MOST gentle, and will NOT leave any marring??

All I need is to remove the light dirt from 6 months of driving since last clay...the paint feels smooth, just need that freshly perfect clean finish before the Z2!

    thanks guys!:mounty:

Both brands have different grades of clay which will determine how aggressive each claybar will be and therefore the chance that it may marr your paint. I have really only had experience with Riccardo Blue and yellow which are both mild clay that I have used for a longtime up until I bought a bunch of Clay Magic OTC. The Riccardo is very very good as it is easily shaped, picks up contaminants quickly, and leaves little to no marring even on softer paint provided you keep the paint sufficiently lubricated.

I don't like the Riccardo yellow but the blue is great...it's very mild which is what it sounds like you're after. A hint...microwave your piece for 20 seconds before using (especially in winter) and it makes it even more pliable.

The new clay detailed image has (I forget the name, but its the softest one) worked really well for me and didn't induce any marring when I used it. Its fairly priced, and easily accessible.
