Could someone that lives in Canada be so kind as to order a lot of Riccardo clay?:help: because I'm sure tons of us Americans are interested in buying some. You could add a charge to each bar to make some money and I'm sure people would still pay.

That is illegal, my friend. The Riccardo clay is very desirable, but due to the Auto Magic patent, whoever tries to get that type of clay for resale within the USA, will get in deep trouble. So, honestly, I do not think anybody will be able to help you. :sorry:

Damn, I guess I'll have to drive all the way up to Canada to get it haha. Anyone know a place in Montreal that sells it?

Or if anyone wants to hook me up send me a pm.

Your Canadian friends don't have to sell you that clay, they can just give it to you away. And then later, you can "reward" them. Just don't leave any "footprints".

And posting up on a public forum may put up red flags....

Not in America. Here it's exactly the opposite.

If the proverbial "Clay Police" have nothing better to do in their lives than to scan a detailing forum to "catch" a few members selling a few bars of clay between friends then they lead some sad pathetic lives!

don't tell me you work for clay police...
In either way, I don't think Ricardo clay is all that magic, and that it's the only one that works. C'mon, in this case why not just get Sonus green clay?

IMO, Sonus green is quite nice but I feel that there are better out there that we can't get our hands on legally.

Sonus green is more of an Ultra fine clay, that works well if car gets clayed on regular basis.
Now if it does not, I step up to a bit more moderate clay, like Mothers, or Clay Magic blue.

 yea sometimes rules, regulations..:bla2: :bla2: :bla2: is a tad annoying if you ask me...but such is life...till the patent expires that is.

I wonder, once the patent expires is there a chance of the patent ever coming back?

Yeah seems like it expires in 2010 or 2012 I think. It will be interesting to see how the market does for clay when that happens and ANYONE can make clay and sell it.
