I have had these products for quite some time now, and I finally found the right moment to test them. I found two test mules in the form of a Chevy Tahoe with 110,000 miles a Chevy Colorado with 48,000 miles. Active Shampoo: you get quite a bit of shampoo in this no-nonsense bottle. Foams up VERY nicely and made washing the cars a freeze. Not very harsh. A handy feature is the measuring cap you can twist off the bottom. Makes getting the right amount a BREEZE. Just make to rinse it before puttig it back on again. Has a cheap smell, making you thinkg you think you're at a crap carwash. Put a nice scent on it and this could be a really good "bang for the buck" car wash. I don't like the bottle though, it's tall and skinny make it easy to knock it over. Liquid Nano Pro Wax: I didn't have very high hopes for this wax I'm spoiled with my paste waxes. Application was about as easy as applying Jetseal 109 and removal about as easy as removing Collinite 845. Not the easiest, but certianly easy enough. Just make sure to apply nice and thin and you'll be fine. Didn't dust, and didn't leave any residue. A nice no nonsense liquid wax. Same issue with the bottle, fell over twice. Annoying! Here are some pics: :thumb:
Thanks for the review, I'll be sure not to pick this up...I don't things that are easy to knock over..Also I just don't have passion for buying expensive soaps..I just can't do it
Looking at the Detailer's Domain Web site, it looks like the shampoo isn't even for sale anymore! Well, that makes it easy... I would, however, spend money all day long on the Prima Hydro Wash. At $14.95, it's not expensive and it's QUITE a bit better than the Sonax shampoo. And I think the Prima shampoo is cheaper and smells GREAT.
Thanks for the Review, Austin ! I have used the Sonax Nano Pro Liquid Wax with my Rotary and a L/C White Flat 5.5" pad on a couple of older light colored cars that were in pretty good shape, and it was amazing at how well it cleaned the paint and left a nice waxed look gloss. And as it was for you, this was super easy to use, no dusting and easy to remove what little was left after buffing it. It is also very easy to use in door jambs, under hoods, trunk lids, anywhere you want to clean and amp up the shine quickly. I shook the heck out of the bottle and immediately transferred it to one of the Meguiars plastic bottles with the nice pointed cap and no more knock-overs. Dan F
