Jesse contacted me and others recently to see if I would be interested in trying some sample sizes of his new gear, as he is "one of us" I said sure. He sent it over and we split the shipping cost of $60.00 usd, I used the products on four vehicles with a rotary and da/polishers (pcxp/Griots/Festool/G110V2. The vehicles were my wife's Chevy HHR SS/996 GT3/Ferrari F-430 Scuderia/Ferrari F-430 coupe. POLISHES: 6H compound: this product worked well on the Chevy paint, but on the ferrari's and Porsche I had micromarring(Jesse told me rotary tricks I will try in the future).Medium polish: acted like Menz S203 wipes up VERY easy. Jewelling/finish polish: my favorite, different look than M205 but wipes of easier....which is funny because I thought nothing would wipe off easier than M205. Clean smooth look Glass Sealant: On recent road trip to San Diego I put it on the front windshield and rear glass and it worked as advertised with hard water from the gas stations not bonding to the windshield when I cleaned the glass with the brackish water they use. Here is the rear glass on my wife's car, very sharp reflections. The wheel cleaner worked well l, like Sonax in the look but I have not used the Sonax yet and Phil & Dave say it's the poo. I also like the Nano wheel cleaner which protected the wheels great, after returning from SD if I had a pressure washer I think the wheels would have been 95% cleaned. Here are some more pics of the wife's car. Here is the F-430 I used the product on, as I stated it micromarred(6H compound) so I compounded with M105, but I used the jewelling polish. Finished down with the jewelling polish. Still have to play more with the products, so more findings to come.
Thank you for your Wolf's Chemicals review, Bob! Glad you like the stuff and hope you can get use to the compound ! - Jesse
Right now we're looking for distributors in the US so hopefully someone will step up to the plate soon !
A little off topic here, but that is easily the nicest looking HHR I've ever seen, and one of the best silver cars, too. Not usually a fan of either, but that one got my attention.
I was thinking the same ... it does look pretty sweet! Thanks Pat! As stated above, hopefully they'll be available in the US soon!
