well got the product to use as prep process for CQuartz, works great, if somebody used Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner will see similarities in how it works, im sure it has similar chemicals in braking down metals, it does turn red once it starts working.

    Initial Product Observations:
    Packaging: N/A
Directions: spray on, wait couple minutes, then (rinse off (light agitation can be done with wheel brush if used on wheels or using soft sponge on paint such as P21S TAW yellow sponge or something similar)
    Consistency: water like
    Color: Clear
Scent: septic tank smell (not good, needs to be used in well ventilated area)
    Manufacturer: CarPro
    Made in: made in Japan

Prep needed: wash the car, dry it, preferably clay it as much as you can but can be used right after drying.

Pros: works great, safe for paint.

    Cons: smell

final thoughts: this is one of must have products for any detailer, will make removing rail dust a breath, this is kind of like Tarminator for tar removal, spray on and walk away for couple min, very easy to use

will try it on white civic probably today

here is pics of product working on TSX wheel

Looks good thanks for your thoughts on the product. I recently used it for the first time and it did work well and was super easy to use. I did use it on wheels and it made cleaning them a breeze.

I did a review a few months ago comparing Iron Cut vs Sonax. Sonax's consistency is ideal for rims as it clings to the surface. Iron Cut (Iron X) watery consistency is great for body panels.

Thanks for the review. IMO, Iron Cut is one of those "always have extra stock in my shelf" kind of product.

Thanks for the heads up on the Sonax product. my only issue with the Iron X was I used more than I should have. was thinking a sprayer with a fine mist would allow me to use a lot less. may have to check the other product out.

I've been using Iron Cut since it first came out and I have yet to use the amount that Avi (Car Pro Owner) recommended. Sonax is more cost effective than Iron X on rims. I usually use half to 3/4 of a small bottle of Iron X on an average-sized vehicle.

used it today on white civic SI, i didnt clay the car before using IronX and had to apply product twice to remove all rail dust, next time ill clay car first and then use ironx, this way less product is wasted on repeat application since car has to be clayed anyway.

i am very happy with the product, same as i was satisfied with tarminator and similar must have products, ill post pics and videos tonight, school computers dont have SD card slots
