removing power lock?

    i am looking to remove power lock and apply a nano coating...if i use some apc in my foam lance and do ipa wipedowns, will this remove power lock? its only a few weeks old...

    Although powerlock is a great polymer sealant it's by no means permanent. APC added to your foamer with some dawn dish soap for extra measures will do the trick. During rinse, if beading is still present. Rinse and repeat

    I would recommend doing a wipe down with a oil and wax remover before applying the coating, regardless if you have LSP down or not, to ensure a clean surface. Something like G|Tech Panel Prep, although, it is similar to many of the solvent based wax removers on the market.

    Yeah I am planning on doing a 50/50 IPA wipe too

    I use a mix of Adam's soap with ether APC or dawn as a stripper.

    I call Adam's and APC Phil's cocktail or maybe should be called Phll's Elixir.
