I was helping a friend detail his BMW 325 ci this weekend and while cleaning the seats with Z-9, we noticed that the leather seemed to be peeling off. After a closer look, we noticed that the front seats had a leather paint on them. Ive heard of painting the leather, but don't have any experience with it. It seems like a lot of work to remove all the paint down to the natural leather. Was just wondering if anyone with experience with this could chime in. Looks like the previous owner was covering up worn leather.
