Recent pick up sat Wal-Mart today

They had it on clearance, marked from $35 to $20. I had a $10 gift card to spend, so I bought them out. I'm gonna hit up another surrounding Wal-Mart where they might carry the wax and a few other products.

 

wow, Im suprised they still have some. Pepboys had it for that price too.

 

Wow! They still have them? I think I will see a Walmart on the way when we visit the states in April.

Mine did. They had three Saturday but I didn't have the money at the time, and I went back today and they were in the same spot, didn't look like anyone even looked at them. I don't think people know what this product is all about.

I think 20.00 is still pretty high for the average consumer to pay for wax......... especially when the market and people have been conditioned by meguairs and mothers to buy a 8.99 bottle of spray wax.

 

...Why Canada, why can't we participate in such great deals! Especially when our dollar is worth more

Yeah, you make a good point. The new Meguiar's Ultimate Wax liquid was $20 right next to it though.
But that tub of Turtle Wax was just 3.97:thumb:

 

My local Wal-mart has had three for a while now. I just don't know if its worth buying it, I could spend that money on something else like more towels or kwazar bottles lol.

 

Brand recognition.......... most people have no clue who Auto Glym is.

 

I also bought the only two cases of the HD wax my Walmart had. Took the last two on the shelf, but haven't used it yet!

 

its sad that the US master distributor didn't have a clue on how to market the items, I'm sitting on some great product right now, but due to the blow out sales these big guys have I can't compete, they are selling it cheaper than we buy for by a lot, so guys take them off the shelf so I can start selling my stock LOL

 

Most of the big chain stores put 2-3 on each shelf.

from what I was told there were 2-3 per store but only a select few, they have dropped the line I believe as of Jan 1, 11, so whatever you see out there grab it, it won't come back LOL

 

Did Wal-Mart only get the wax, or did they get anything else? The one store I got the wax at had nothing but the wax, not even clearance or a tag for it. Although they did have a Surf City Garage section setup with most everything they have.

 

wax and applicator pad, pepboys I believe has a bigger range, but I have heard that they are dropping the stores that didn't sell product.

 

Phil! I'm gonna check all the other Walmarts in the area and clear them out for you haha!
