Reccomendations for a long reach wash mitt/sponge?

I'm looking for something to help my pops to wash the top of his truck and toneau cover.

Maybe something to put a wash mitt over, or a ShmiTT, whatever. Has anyone seen any good solutions?

Boar's Hair Brush?

I have a boars hair brush like the one virtual suggested and I also have this from Griots:

I like both of them.

 

I bought a feather tipped brush from a local janitorial store, it is meant for washing cars, and attached it to a pole from home depot, the kind theat automatically telescopes by pushing a button.
