Hey guys, I'm outside working on my sister's VW Jetta, and I'm having problems cleaning the rear wheel wells. They are covered in this felt like stuff, with crap sticking to it and it's proving extremely difficult to get it all out.:shead: The front wells are "normal" I guess you could say, no felt like stuff covering them. Any tips/thoughts?

I use a regular degreaser and pressure washer. The pressure washer does most of the work.

ek I hate the felt that VW puts in the fender lines. This is what I normally do, take a APC and spray it in the wheel arch and take a stiff bristle brush and scrub the liners. Then take the hose with a jet setting and spray the crap out of it and then change it to a fan setting if you can and finish cleaning it out. if anything is still stuck just spray it and use the brush at the same time. I just use one of those 1.50 brushes you use to scrub pots with, has the short, white, stiff nylon bristles.

I do a lot MB's with that felt garbage. I treat like carpet and clean it with APC anf a bruch then vaccum it. Thats just my approach.

Same as a few people on here I treat it like carpet and take APC and a tire brush instead to clean the liners.
