Typo, you pretty much just said, "Another victim of Toronto's marijuana":afro:. Anyways, it looks a lot better! What products and tools did you use?
Good turn around... obviously the owner needs to step up to a little better floor mat that offers some protection...
lol...Sorry still getting use to showing my work. more excited about getting the pics up for review lol Products Exterior CHerry Bomb car soap Wire Wheel Rim Cleaner acid based and still went 3 rounds with each rim.spray scrub rinse lol Megs Tire Shine spray....I prefer the Gel but ran out Interior See Spot go for pretreat Blue Max all purpose cleaner for shampoo.... great for dirt and grime! Extra Duty Spray on the leather ... works 99% of the time to remove jean marks! Does anyone think an Extractor would do a better job then my hand shampoo? Honestly cuz I may get one if this is the case, but I think the job I did was well worth the clients money.
ive only ever seen 1 range rover sport in white here in the uk, it looks sweet. is that carbrite cherrbomb? i always use a wet and dry vac but sometimes after you shampoo and suck up the detergent it can bring the more inground dirt back up, i go over with a thick towel after to remove any grimey layer that may come back. youve done a noce job considering its by hand mate. nice turn around.:thumb:
Ya all the interior product are carbrite! Thx for the tip and compliment as well. So you said good job by hand, does this mean you think an extractor could do better? I'm going to start a thread because I've never used one. If it saves time and does a better job then I'll spend the money for one!
$200 canadian $250 with wax, but its a leased vehicle so they did't bother with a wax....I find ppl with nice daily drivers don't care for them the same as their toys in the garage. like if this was someones vehicle that had no other toys. it would have been polished and waxed lol
it all depends on the severity of the grime in the carpet/upholstrey and everyone is different, i prefer using a wet/dry vac but thats just my preference though i do use a karcher steam cleaner also. a thread would be good so you and many others can get a good varied opinion. i used all the carbrite products quite a few years back when i had contracts at 3 car main dealerships ( vw, vauxhall x 2 ) cost was an issue as i had 10 staff and on average we cleaned almost 300-400 cars a week ( ranging from service washes to full valets )but the products spread a long way.
no reason, some large national company came in, under cut me and i lost the lot as all 3 dealerships were owned by one man, i was in talks with another dealership + i was in the process of having my own unit and a mobile smart repair unit also ( not to blow my own trumpet but predicted turnover was around £265000 total ), to say i was gutted was an understatement and i fell depressed, its taken me until now to get myself together again. again not being big headed....put it this way my turnover for the 1st year running with 7 staff was a smudge under £170000, this was back in 2005 so in dollars it would have been a fair old lump of cash. im quite happy being a one man opperation now and detailing cars for people whom respect my opinions and work, its become a finnacially lucrative hobbie.:thumb:
Wow, impressive. Thx for sharing. I to know how it feels to rise and fall...not quite from that level but it sucked non the less. Like you Mobile detailing has put new energy into me and I look forward to the future again.
glad its not just me then ( dont mean that in a bad way ) im still working for another company now and building up my own detailing at the weekends which is snowballing i might add so who knows whats round the corner..........whatever it is im ready for it. well heres to a brighter year and hopefully a successfull one dale:thumb:.
