Unless you are abusing the XL, you shouldn't have any problems with it. Both the Daytona and EZ have issues as the shaft is too flexible. If anyones XL breaks off, send it back and I'll replace it.
I was surprised he posted that, the brush is extremely solid compared to the EZ brushes. I like the RG brushes but I've been able to fit an entire wash mitt inside of the barrel on my own car (small brakes) so I've mostly eliminated the need for a brush.
