I've been busy as hell at work lately (2 jobs) and I haven't had time to wash my truck at all in the past week and a half. Being down at the shore a lot of salt deposits had formed on the truck from the raindrops evaporating, but I had put on a coat of 845 beforehand so everything was cake. I used about 2-3 oz of Majestic Solutions Ultra Gloss in 3 gallons of water in combination with my black Raceglaze mitt. I was on cloud nine. I might have been able to get away with less soap, possibly even only using an oz, but damn was it slick. Anyone who has never tried this soap is required to from now on out. Now it isn't a prep soap as it has a LOT of polymers in it, but for a maintenance soap it is really amazing. Definitely leaves gloss behind, makes good suds, and is stupid slick. It has a nice cherry/ cherry cola smell to it. Even a ladybug stopped by and sat on the paint to enjoy the scent. The Raceglaze mitt itself is really nice. I've only used a handful of wash media but I can see myself using this for quite some time. I like it better than the Uber sponger because it hold more water and seems to glide a bit more.
I originally ordered Super Foam and Super Green Stuff and asked for a small sample of Ultra Gloss. I got a sample from another member and loved the stuff. Recently I traded a pot of 476 for 32oz of it. I'm slowly building up a collection haha.
Glad you liked the Ultra Gloss Kyle. Raceglaze mitt and UG is my favorite combo. Yes, 1oz. is more than enough, but like you I use about 2ozs.
i hate ordering just one or two things from a company...like to do big orders ...anybody sell majestic other then them?
yups pakshak.com is where i got my majestic solution's along with a sweet race glaze mitt. ranney is da man! majestic solutions also have other great products too. 'super foam' for pressurewasher cannons, 'super green stuff' and 'power prep' for apc and degreaser(my current 2 favorites in those categories) among other things.
