Hi guys , not sure what to call this so im open to suggestions , i was thinking along the lines of correction but as you read further on you'll find out why My mate Dawood (Tony ) was on the other end of the phone to answer some questions i had. Products used are as follows : Makita 9227CB Yellow 3M pads Lime Prime Tape Ag glue and tar remover Various brushes and Micro fibres Colinite 476's Valet pro protectant. Gunk (from halfords) Biodegradeable degreaser. The car on arrival wasnt too dirty just the usual road grime. Just the one picture as i initially started this on Saturday but the rain called it off :wall: First thing was to clean the wheels and arches. 50:50 I then went on to wash the car the TBM way then dried it with the Autoshine polishing/drying towels. The clay was near spotless with the car being just oer a year old so no pics im afraid. BUT half way through washing the windscreen i spotted this : Crafty :wall: the owner didnt even know it was there until i pointed it out to her. After the claying was over i then washed the car again and dried with the autoshine towels leaving me with a finish like this : Flawless but not perfect ! I then taped the trim and plastics visible on the car and then progressed onto prepping the surface for the wax via Limeprime on the makita at 600rpm Once the enire vehicle had been cleansed i then set about waxing it with collinite 476's using a foam applicator and my hands in some areas. Nice beading ei \/ Whilst the wax was hazing i then tackled the interior , this wasnt that bad , just a few shots of the boot im afraid (best ones ) Before I removed the two platforms in the boot and treated them with Valet Pro protectant , leaving me with these results. The left hand one has been treated. Once both platforms had been treated i then cleaned the interior with Gunk diluted 4:1 , i then treated all visible plastics and the spare tyre leaving me with these results : Looks like new !! I then polished all the door shuts and boot jams that i could access with the makita on a spot pad which brought them up a treat , unfortunatley no pics as it was starting to get dark. Once the interior was tackled i then applied a second layer of wax and misted it with water 5-10 minutes after application which left me with this great 50:50 I then buffed the wax off the car and set about removing any dust and wax that had collected in some of the pannel gaps and badges. These are the finished results : And my favourite picture : The neighbours commented on how well the car looked and they could certainly tell that it had been done. Thanks for reading , all comments and critism welcome.
