Well I wasn’t going to do a write up on this fire truck but I snapped a few pictures so I figured why not  it wont have as many pictures as my normal write ups but here goes.

The fire truck just came back from a bunch of shows and after this detail it was going to some other shows as well. Well here is the truck:

    Like always, lots of bugs.

This time around I brought lots of Poorboys Bug Squash  I finally got the big container open…now how did I open it you might ask? Well I finally had enough so I just drilled a hole in the container ;) Worked like a charm.

Family helps me out with these fire trucks and here is the misses applying Bug Squash:

She’s in charge of bug duty, here and my little girl :thumb:

Well the during pictures stop from here, we wanted to get the fire truck done as quickly as possible so I didn’t’ take any pictures during the wash :sorry:

But the wheel wells received P21S Total Auto Wash, along with the tires, the rims received some Green P21S Gel. All agitated with various brushes.

The rest of the truck was washed via two bucket method and as for shampoo I used Meg’s Gold Class.

Once the entire vehicle was washed and dried my favorite sealant combo was applied. DG#601 followed up with 105. Such a great combo :thumb:

Well here are some after pictures, not many :sorry:

Ah that’s better, emblem is now presentable and best part DG gives it that bling effect :cheerl:

Remember how I said DG adds that bling to these fire trucks here is what I mean:

Well that about does it, again not my most in depth write up but I’m happy to say we were able to detail this fire truck in record braking time…well for me that is. This fire truck only took us 4hrs to do exterior and interior :thumb: All thanks to the support of the family though, couldn’t do it with out the family :worship2:

Yes, this one was quick...but it helped that the fire truck was smaller compared to the other fire trucks this shop receives. Family and I enjoy working on these fire trucks, it's good bonding time :thumb:

oh lol..well thanks to DB Boss I was introduced to the owner of this business, I detailed one fire truck and the rest is history. To say the business owner was pleased is an understatement, not only that but the owner now requests DG as protection on these fire trucks. Best part the owner and I have become good friends, so when a fire truck arrives he gives me a call and lets me know when it needs to be done by and I work around it with my schedule. Owner still thinks it's funny how I get enjoy detailing these big rigs..but they really are no different then a regular large SUV/truck..ect..ect..just takes a little longer that's all.
