I am planning to purchase a VX-5000 vapour cleaner, my questions are:

    1. Anyone had the unit sent to Canada? Did you pay taxes on the purchase?

    2. Any brokerage fees for custom?

    Thanks for any input.

I tend to like buying new...

But, how old is yours and how much do you want for it? And where are you located?

Thanks for the offer in any case.

I dont see a big difference in their specifications (vx-5000 and Tosca), but the 5000 costs me about $250 less than Tosca (after adding in $50 for 5000 delivery charge and assuming I dont have to pay duty on it).

I am not a professional detailer. I just want a vapour unit which is reliable and reasonable in price. A lot of members here seem to like the 5000. I couldnt find many reviews regarding the Tosca.

Of course it is good to have a Canadian company to provide after sale service, but only if they actually provide good services.

Hope you can post here what you find out about the Dupray. Thanks.

I sold to pay detailing bills, but then couldn't resist and got a Kranzle power-washer... ... which now im back to square 1.

the steamer was awesome!! clean stuff around the house, exterior wax residual, door jams, emblems, and does wonders in interiors. it will pay itself off fairly quick.

    I would buy it again!

  12. Let me know if you have any questions of if I can be of help.
