Do you have to avoid getting it around emblems and whatnot so it doesn't get a dry white buildup? I'm used to zaino and that wasn't a problem because it dries clear

I try to avoid getting it around emblems, dont know about white buildup but i will go with a q-tip around badges to clean up if i do get some around the ridge. I have some with points on the end and work great for that. Pretty sure it would be white as around the cap there is some white dust on my bottle.

I have seen 845 leave some white residue behind but like Ankeet I use a q-tip to remove that if necessary.

I would just avoid the areas that might collect some residue to the best of your ability, but inevitably some will get into the seams of body panel and trim no matter how careful you are. For 845, remove it ASAP otherwise it will really set and will become a whole lot harder to remove.

I did my car with 845 today and it will leave a white residue around emblems if not careful. I had one small area that did it.

It does set up pretty quick. Within about 5-10 minutes it was ready to be wiped off. Very easy to work with imo.
