In winter, I hate to use the dirty bucket of filth at the gas station, therefore, I would rather carry some quick detailer or windshield cleaner that won't freeze but will stay mostly streak free. Anyone have suggestions?
Streak free is gonna be hard in the cold. I would suggest warming the car up (which will warm up the windows) and use a lot of very dry towels when cleaning the windows. Other than that, I like Surf City Garage Clearly Better, Invisible Glass, yada yada. It's more process than product I believe in cleaning windows.
A good winter oriented windshield solution like 1Z's winter windshield washer fluid will do the trick. That way you don't have to worry about getting out of your car to clean road grime off your windshield.
