used puffed wool and fine wool for the first time today and man i gotta say i was impressed by both some serious rids and deep scratches got taken out in seconds and then polished to a high gloss fast as hell idk why i was so afraid to use them in the first place and these were the two wools that come with the makita i cant imagine how good the better ones are

What speeds did you use and what car were you working on, I might go ahead a pick up some 97 Cherokee Doors someone is selling, that I can practice on, the problem is that their quite small so I will have to be careful on how I move around

The disadvantage to wool is that it throws off fluff that needs to be cleaned after. The advantages of fast, effective correction without grinding through a ton of clear far outweigh the disadvantages IMO. Some wool fluffs less than others. PFW is good for that, but not as aggressive. The Megs burg wool fluffed like crazy the first time and is much better now.

Get the micro surface lambswool pads if you like wool.
