I ordered a set of fully polished ccw lm5's for my s2000, and the wheels should be done being made next week sometime, I'm looking for what will be alright to use for a sealant, but still keep them polished so I don't ruin them, I have rim shield, jetseal, cg wheel guard, any suggestions? The car doesn't see rain, snow, or anything, but still wanna keep them protected, thanks

    Auto Finesse Mint Rims, duh!

I would wash them by hand with soap. A C6 Vette guy locally who I have detailed for has a set, fully polished as well. I know from his "experiences" he only uses soap now, they stain easily.

AGCWC for cleaning, blackfire all metal sealant for protection. Killer combo

I won't be using any cleaners on the wheels, they have no clear coat, and i don't feel like ruining $3k dollar wheels haha, but I thought about all metal sealant, I want something durable, also is opticoat/aquartz alright to put on powdercoated surfaces? My brakes are powdercoated white and want something that will keep them the cleanest, as best as possible and repel dirt, dust and other junk

AGCWC is a non acidic wheel cleaner, I have used them on raw billet no problem, I use zaino Z2pro on wheels usually and it lasts quite a long time, but for a more permanent options, opticoat and Aquartz will work fine on PC wheels i would go for OC, it will last longer.

The wheels don't have powdercoat, the brake calipers are powdercoated, wheels are polished

AG CWC is meant for polished aluminum. I have done a few 10 grand plus wheels sets with no issue.

^^^^ this, and regardless if they are raw, clear coated or powdercoated, it will do wonders to the calipers too, used them on my brembos no problem.......... plus it does not stink.....

You have all the same products I have. I went with 2 coats of Jetseal and 1 coat of Wheel-Guard. That should be a great combo!!! Its been on my wheels for 9 months, still working pretty darn well as I only wash my wheels with soap and water.

For cleaning AG CWC is great I also have had great success with Duragloss 831 Metal Brightener, its made for fully polished wheels. I use it on mine prior to polishing to free up some gunk. No issues whatsoever. I seal them up with SV in summer and Colli 845 in winter,Im running low so I too will be giving AF mint a try

ok, my RAYS were like that.

honestly, I assume you will keep them pristine to begin with. So for daily or weekly maintenance washes, a good reputable PH neutral soap like adams, Optimum, Prima, CG Citrus Daily, etc. etc. will work. Pick up a Uber sponge, or a really soft grout sponge and wash them like you would your paint. Use a high quality sealant like suggested, or treat them with OptiCoat....... you will be fine. biggest thing I have found with wheels like that is water spots, so do one wheel at a time. Also use forced air like a leaf blower to blow off water when done so there is no water in the seams, or joints.

    You will be golden.

You can Use auto Glym Custom Wheel Cleaner if you want too as well, its just always necessary unless you have tracked the car, or neglected the wheels for a week or so of driving. But you cannot go wrong using it or not using it.

Yea the car sits in the garage most of the time, unless I go to a show or car meet, so i don't daily it, I have plenty of uber sponges, but ill just use jetseal most likely unless I decide to get mint rims, but thanks kilo!
