Album here: 2001 Mercedes E320 - Imgur Buddy of mine just purchased a new to him E320 (2001). While another buddy of mine was doing a tuneup on his new car, I decided to show him some proof of concept for detailing. Sometimes showing a person how the results can be in a small area can really sell a detail. I did half of the trunk (haha, I understand its hilarious but allowing him to see half good and half bad until I get it done will really sell it). I also did a bad scuff/scratch on his driverside quarterpanel. I did quick passes just to show him the difference. I also wet the car beforehand and after. He immediately noticed the massive difference. Before, it was just pooling water and sitting there. After, water was beading and barely staying on the car. Products used: Menzerna SI1500 followed up with Menzerna SF4000. I used PG1000 on that scratch on the trunk. Sealed with CG Black Light and waxed with Adam's Americana. He is now scheduled for a complete detail in August.
