Products that disappointed you

Time for the evil twin to come out. So, we had the products that blew you away. Which products did you buy that were considered "boutique" that really let you down. There are a few off the top of my head.

Poorboys Natty's Paste wax. Tried it once. Really didnt like it that much. Really underwhelmed. I could have gotten more depth with TW Platinum =)

Poorboy's Leather Stuff. I guess after using Pinnacles leather combo this just couldnt cut the butter for me. Smells good but doesnt last.

OPP- old formula. The old Protectant Plus had a nice matte finish, but man it smelled like @$$. I cleaned my moms ranger one day and I sprayed the heck out of it, try to use all I could. I've still got a bottle of that stuff somewhere. I dont think I could give it away. The formula is GREAT though. The old stuff had a great matte finish but it would make you wanna smell your pits.

I didn't like EX-P and Natty's paste did nothing for me either.

 

I would have to say RMG, Edge pads/adapter, AG Guzzler(never worked), CG Wet Mirror Finish, CG Ez-Creme, DP wheel sealant, Pinnacle swirl removers, Cobra micro-fibers

nxt v1, grout sponges , #16, P21S wheel gel (I know I'm in the minority with that one!), sonus sfx polishes, mothers showtime, back to black, zymol japon, cobra deluxe jr .- the purple ones, pb s&g...thats all I can think of now, I'm sure theres more, I try soooo much stuff...

Pinnacle XMT pad cleaner - Nothing I cant do with any other cleaner I already have.

DP Gel Wheel Cleaner - Outperformed APC little if it all, not very gel like at all

Surf City MFs - The WORST!

Optimum Polish - I think it works best with a rotary, I have a UDM

 

NTS7 liquid shield

 

OP - Just felt like it did not do much in the correction dept. Even after finnessing it, I think the finish to me was just ok. Maybe I have high standards, but it did not meet them.

Optimum spray wax- It was another product that was weak.

Glare- Horrible durability! The compounds and polishes had tons of fillers which was a pain. No correction ability at all. The look was just ok and nothing speacial.

EX-P Sealant- Just way over rated.

 

jet seal - for some reason, didnt last (look and durability) for me compared to other sealants I use.

ocw - nothing special.

 

Chemical Guys leather condioner - it's more of a protectant instead of condiioner.
Duragloss paste wax - trully is junk, PITA to apply and remove. I gave it away.
Finish Kare pink wax - heavy solvent, even worse then Megs gold class wax.
Megs NXT v1 - wax with almost no durability.
Poorboy's EX, and EX-P - way overrated (or maybe I'm spoiled)
NTS7 QD - streaks heavily.

I had personal experience with these products, and won't buy them again

 

Wow S&W? I love it, it takes alot of experience to get use to. I can see how alot of people dislike or have bad luck with the Edge2K system.

Wheel Sealants are a joke, nothing a regular sealant can't do.
