Product splatter leaving permanent "water" marks.

Im wet sanding a paint job I finished recently, its a single solid colour, 2k white. The issue im having is that when I buff out the 2000 grit scratches with compound, I get these marks from were the product splatters landed on adjacent panels.

No matter what product I use it leaves them, even finishing polishes, ill get one area mint, then when I buff the part beside it the splatter that then gets wiped off leaves marks, they are only visible under fluorescent lighting, not visible in daylight. They are almost like water marks, they are in the shape of how the splatter has landed. They cant be buffed out, must be wet sanded to remove, but then I have the same issue all over again.

Is it because the paints so new the product "seeps" into the paint?

    Anyone had similar issues?
