Well Chris did his homework and dramatically improved this wax over the first version. The look is sharper than the first version and the ease of taking off the wax is very good. I would put it up with Souveran for ease of use. The wax didn't mute the flakes as much as the porevious version, but lost a little of the warmness the first version had. All in all a very good wax, as far as durability goes, corrswitch will have to chime in for now. Well done Chris.:mounty:

Yes, its still looking good. I will update with pics when I can upload them.

    Its still holding out well.

As I upload pictures, please let me know what pictures you want.

Bryan, you might be interesting in knowing that your own wax survived a night of bird poop.

Thanks for the review! How would you say this stands against Lusso Oro and CG 5050? I'm looking to pick up a wax in the near future is why I ask.

Ok, just a picture from week 1.

I took this pictures from my cell phone after some rain during the first week.

Note: I washed the car at a coin wash with just water and soap.

    Ok, pictures from week 2.

No wash but there was some rain over the weekend.

Still looks pretty good. I'll try to grab more pictures and including how much dust it could attract. However during the first two weeks, I did not see much dust attracted to it.

    Hi All,

    Sorry for the delay.
Week 4 did not have rain and the car was in okay condition so no pics..

So here is the beading on week 5.

Looks like its starting to fade...what do you think?

My apologies for lack of updates, trying to get over ankle injuries and lack of rain so have not had a chance to check the beading :(

Suffering from withdrawal of not detailing these few weeks :(

    Hi All,

Again, my apologies for the lack of updates.
Ankle is feeling better. Not enough to wash the car but could take it out and take some pictures.

We've had some rain the past few days but before that, no rain at all.

Anyways, I've attached a few recent pictures from my blackberry.

The beading is died down quite a bit but it is still beading but much less than before. Not sure if it is compromised by a dirty surface since I have not had a chance to wash the car (a severe case of OCD withdrawal...)

There is still beading in some areas.

Gloss is still there but the slickness has died down a bit as well.

Will keep taking pictures and hopefully get a wash as well.

Overall, we're almost at the 3 month mark for durability.

Lately there hasn't been much rain and even when it does rain, its too dark to take pictures.

Sorry for the lack of shots.

Well, looks like its near the end of life for the Riccardo wax, during last week's rainfall, in some areas the puddles were very large. Time to put something else on it.

I tried taking pictures but it was too dark.

Hopefully I can wash it one more time and capture the latest beading pics when there is better lighting.

So its seems for this test, we got about 4 months out of the Riccardo wax.

I now have 845, 476, #16, Poli-seal, OCW to put on for my winter prep.

So hard to choose what to put on. Collinite 476 did real well last year.

    Thanks.
