I got a couple pads from Phil to try out as my LC's are starting to wear out.

I got the 6.5" Blue, Green, and Orange pads.

I used the with SIP, IP, Power Finish, and PO85rd.

I will first state that I hated the LC Orange pad, and I still don't like the Uber Orange pad. They seem to be the excact same foam, hard as a rock. I put this down to personal preference, the pad does work well, I just don't like it.

The Blue and Green are Great Pads. I love the shape of how they're cut. Much better than the LC pads. The bottom edge is slighly rounded where the LC is square. I find my LC pads wear out on these edges first as the foam starts to tear away. The Uber pads should not have that problem.

Comparing the Ubers to the LCs, the Uber Green seems a bit softer than the LC green. Not as much cut, about the same density.

The Uber Blue seems to be about halfway between the LC White and LC Black. The texture may be about the same as the LC white, and density about half way.

I was super pleased with the results. The pads never jumped or grabbed, they worked well with any Menz product I used.

If there is one down side it's a heavy cut. Being I don't like the orange pad, I was usually able to crank up the polish on an LC green to get the level of cut I needed. Since the Uber Green is just a touch lighter, I feel as I'm missing the ability to get more agressive.

The pads all washed up very nicely. They seem to take longer to dry than the LC pads... Not sure though.

Just another Great product from Phil. As my LC pads die, they will all be replaced with the new Uber pads.

Thanks for the review, i feel a good set would be to replace the Orange pad with some PFW pads and keep the green and blue.
