- Rustopper was designed to prevent “rust dust” – the initial brake dust on clean wheels that occurs after washing.
- Rustopper’s Acid-free, pH-neutral formula will not attack wheel coatings, lug nuts or braking systems.
- Rustopper is safe on all types of steel and alloy wheels (including chrome and polished wheels), anodized finishes and single stage paints.

Directions for Use:

1. After cleaning wheel and braking system, rinse thoroughly with water and let excess water drip for several seconds.

2. From a close distance, apply liberally to brake rotor surface, spraying in a sweeping motion around the rotor face at least two times.

3. The liquid may fizz as it reacts with the iron rotor. Finally, wipe any excess liquid inside wheel.

Precautions:

Protect against frost or freezing. Do not apply in direct sunlight or to hot wheels.

POSSIBLE EYE AND SKIN IRRITANT. Contains Sodium Nitrite. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Use in well ventilated areas. In case of eye contact rinse immediately and thoroughly with water. Harmful by inhalation and if swallowed. Repeated or prolonged exposure may cause irritation of eyes and skin. In case of skin contact, wash with soap and water. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.

Talk about something that ruins your presentation! I now bring the car inside immediately after washing and use my Master Blaster to dry them off before the rust can form. This is a great idea indeed!! Bravo.

 

Is this safe for "brake pads"? The reason I ask is that I contacted einszett directly regarding their ColourTec Wheel Cleaner as was told not to get it on pad brakes for any long length of time as it may be detrimental to the pad material. Just wondering what effect Rustopper has on brake pads?

 

use your best judgement call. we have used it on Audis, VW's, Porsches, BMW's, etc no issues with brake performance.

 

This is very safe to use on brake pads, rotors, hardware, finishes, etc. It does not contain an oil-based compound and simply aids in drying the rotor face while preventing rust from forming.

 

I will be adding this to my shopping list !! I too use the master blaster but this will help.

Thanks for sharing this with us. I don't know how I haven't heard about this until today. I have a Master Blaster and when I dry my wife's Lexus's rotors, they look like a time-lapse video of rust forming. You can literally watch it form in under thirty seconds. I can't wait to try this.
