Pro Series Simple Green Cleaner & Degreaser

Hi guys,


Just purchased 3 bottles of Pro Series SG Cleaner & Degrease ...



I cant believe 1 bottle 320z only less than US$ 5 is far cheaper than Original simple green at ACE store :shead: they left 3, I took them all ... I also got 303 protectant :kilt:

Anyone use this pro series before for wheels & tires?

SG is ok for cleaner but not too fancy though

Will you be diluting this at all?

 

I dilluted 1:4 & 1:9 ... from the instruction: we must dillute 1:1 to 1:10 for heavy cleaning ... it depends how well your wheels & tires been maintained ... 1:9 work fine on my well maintained wheels (applied DG501 + DG105). 1:4 on tires.

there is not many responses from DB member on Simple Green line :waiting2:... look like not the best choice for wheels n tires cleaner

 

Simple green works very well for a degreaser and cleaning the engine bay.

.... But Like most other DB posters, I have become Jaded to using OTC products.... lol

21st century detailers are so jaded lol

 

I have to say I have used various APC's and Degreasers on wheels and nothing could match a real dedicated wheel cleaner...

 

I use P21S wheel gel and it is great. I will think about getting some Simple Green and diluting to use in other areas of the car though.

 

hehe ... I have used OPC, DG wheel cleaner & DG Ultimate orange. I cant see the different between them since my wheels is not very dirty, I think because a new car and maintain it well. So, I am not willing to spend expensive wheel cleaner.

Agree, have you try dodojuice yellow mellow?

I cant get P21S wheel gel in Indonesia, Its also expensive wheel gel. Im considering order CG Diablo gel, but CG does not using USPS to ship their order to Indoenesia, I am afraid the shipping cost will be very expensive using fedex or UPS.

Wheel cleaners depend entirely on how bad the wheels are. European cars that are neglected need wheel acid of some type. Once the wheels are in great shape and have been sealed, you can use an APC with no problem. Even regular car wash soap will work on cars that do not generate a lot of brake dust. My Infiniti wheels clean up just fine with the wash mitt as the last stage....now mind you they have more sealant than the average car, LOL. I got turned onto Zep APC's (citrus and purple) by some experienced guys on here and I've never looked back. Very good; very cheap...what else can you ask for?

EDIT: I doubt you can buy Zep in Indonesia so I guess you will always be limited somewhat by where you live.
