ok, ive been pretty happy with the satin look from Stoners Tireshine. and im down to my last bottle......Im intrested in maybe switching it up. The stoners actually lasts quite a long time, Im suprised goes on pretty easy, looks great. the benifit for me is its easy to get. But for 10.00 a bottle basically from DD, Nero is not that bad cost wise.

    any thoughts? Recos.

    thanks.

I may be alone on this one but I absolutely love CG Silk Spray and Shine, I just got a gallon of Showroom FX/Tropicare but I haven't used it yet. For me SS&S leaves a perfect finish, I spray it on leave it for 10 min and go over it with a Detailers Domain Uber Blue sponge(small) lasts a little over a week and if you do multiple coats it will get shinier, 1 coat is a nice matte finish. I think its $24 a gallon also, I have used Opti bond 1:1 and Poorboys B&B and I still reach for CG before both of them.

I use Prima Nero as my tire dressing of choice and love it. I have also used Stoner's and liked it as well. As far as the life span of the product on the tire I can't really say. Prima Nero lasts a decent amount of time but we haven't had the best weather lately so I cant be a fair judge. I don't doubt you will be extremely happy with Nero.

Nero is on my list to try as well,is this for your car or customers? I'm not a huge fan of aerosols, with this said the DG 253 is a great bang for your buck, lasts a seriously long time.I buy it in gallons and use it on both customers and my own vehicles. And I'm sure you have read or maybe tried, the optimum tire gel gets some great long lasting results.I purchased a gallon of it,dilute it 1:1 thru a sprayer and quite honestly I cant put a dent in this gallon LOL

both really....... I try everything out first on my car, then put it on the shelf for customers cars. @Chas, Stoners now has they Tire shine in a standard spray which is what Im using currently. Not a fan of aresols either.

What is wierd is I have two types of customers, those who understand the value of a finely detailed protected car, and those who just want it clean. so i basically have two kinds of everything, I tend to use Megs Detailer line for those who just want it clean, and the clients who are more appreciative of a higher product I tend to use the better stuff on them. My base clientel is people who work at the hospital where my wife is at, so fellow physicians and thier understanding and knowlege of a good detail versus the nurses who have a SUV, 3 kids and a dog...... who just want the starbucks stain gone and it too look "shiney"

    LOL.

One thing that appeals to me about the Nero is it can be used inside and out.

I use it more on my own cars. I think you will like Clarity a lot too. I have been using it for a few years and never had a negative word.

My favorite so far is Optimum Opti-bond dressing diluted 1:1 (1 part water, 1 part Opti-bond) for a satin finish. It is super easy to use, a little goes a long way, and looks great. I also found it is a good trim dressing if that is a feature you are interested in.

I used the Prima Nero for the first time Friday on my wifes IS 300. It was my first time trying to do a professional. The wheels and tires turned out really well. Here's a couple pics.

I wanna try Nero, it's the next one on my list. Supposedly makes for a nice interior protectant as well.

That's what I primarily use it as. Leaves a real nice matte finish, not greasy, and lasts a long time. Smells amazing too.
