Price Increase for Solaris?!

Well.. I WAS going to pick up Zymol Solaris, when it was only $30 000 ( LOL.. Kidding!! ) .. but the price increased to $45 000 !!! WTF!!!! Are they for real?!?!
I am at a total loss....

I think they're trying to keep the price constant at 10,000 x the price of a gallon of gas in the US... it's all very scientific :giggle:

Just kidding, they're probably swamped with too many orders to handle at the old price :drinking2:

It's called price skimming. When you have a product that has the top end of the market corced, and the consumer can see a genuine difference in the prodct over other products below it, they will be willing to pay such a price. If I had that sort of money to spend on a wax, I'd buy it in a second, who cares about the cost. Instead, i'll stick with the vintage, it's more in my price range and still looks better then pretty well anything out there; other then its big brother waxes of course.

 

Call it what you want, but do you seriously think a $45,000 wax will be worth it? I doubt even one has sold yet and they raised the price. That wax IMHO is just ridiculous.

You could buy her a car to carry her handbags in for $45,000. A nice car lol.

lol..you guys think that Solaris isn't being sold..boy are you guys mistaken. I've had the opportunity to discuss Solaris with two individuals that own Solaris and lets just say people that can afford Solaris role in a different crowd lol.

Now is it worth the price to each there own but like I said people who purchase this wax are in a different category..heck they may as well be in there own category lol.

If you have $30,000 to spend on a silly wax, then you probably have so much money that you would pay $45,000 for it too. Or $100,000. At those levels, they can charge anything they want to.

 

Even though Hermes bags are expensive, they are not $30K or $45K expensive. Unless you get one custom made, which I don't think they even do.
