Hey guys, i was just roaming Home Depot the other day and checking out which Pressure washer im going to buy to replace the one that just got stolen out of my garage and I was upset to see that they were no longer carrying the one that i had previously bought..a TroyBilt 2500 PSI gas with a Honda Engine...and what i did find was the Home Depot Husky brand with a Kohler motor...has anyone heard anything about this motor? Im not going to buy this unless i cant find the honda engine anywhere..but i am anxious to see if it would be favored over a Briggs and Stratton engine..thanks!
I'm sorry that someone stole your pressure washer out of your garage, that really sucks. I can't really comment on the Husky pressure washer but I know that my neighbor purchased a Husky brand but it was Honda powered. However, I'm not sure if he purchased it at Home Depot or Lowe's. I did get a chance to use my neighbor's pressure washer when I did his Suburban and it was really nice and better than my Karcher.
:applause2:I work at Lowes and they carry TroyBilt with the honda engine, I bought one recently customer bought one back and they clearance it out at $100 no problem just change your oil regular, good luck..
Some bad news.. 20-25 HP Kohler and now even some smaller engines are coming from China. Ariens had to shift fast last fall to find a new engine distributor. I'd prefer a Robin engine myself if they would expand, but soon all small engines will probably be coming from China. One I had was called a Wisconsin-Robin, now it's Subaru-Robin I think. Sweeeeeeeeet Engine.
Thanks for the replies guys, i think i was mistaken in my first post..Lowes was where i bought my troybilt PW and i went back and there they were not yet am i buying but soon.....
why don't you check out your local Big Lots. I've seen Karcher pressure washer there with Honda engine for around $300.
