Hello, I would like to ask what are your thoughts on using pre wax prior to waxing or sealant. Which product do you recommend (Zymol HD, SV cleaner fluid, or PS21 paintwork)? What are the differences or all give the same results. Are any of these products working well with Zymol Concours, VS Concours, and PS21 nuba wax? Your ideas and thoughts are appreciated. Thanks
Pre wax before laying down the first layer of a new wax. Both SV cleaner fluid and P21S are great. They will work fine with either of those waxes you listed. Although some people like to use the same brand of pre wax cleaner/sealant/wax. It's simply personal preference.
P21S paintwork cleaner that i used only for removing oils after polishing. it does say it will remove minor imperfections but not sure how much of is true. using prewax cleaner just removes oils or light dirt from paint surface. it removes some oxidation and contamination that might prevent proper bonding of wax to paint surface. you still should use clay if you havent clayed the car before.
