Pre polish shampoo

Any other alternatives to the chemical guys offerings?

This would be my suggestion as well.

If we're talking shampoozies, then I say an alternative would be SFX Citrus Pre-Cleaner.

 

IPA.... wash with whatever you want, then just do a few IPA wipedowns before you polish and your set:mounty:

 

thanks i have been using cg citrus wash and clear and citrus wash and they work but have not amazed me so looking to try something new. the ms will probably be the first b/c i want to try there other shampoo

 

I just use an OTC wash like Mothers Gold Car wash, follow it with two IPA wipe downs, then clay before I start polishing. Had to edit this as I posted incorrectly.

 

i really want the migliore citro..... but cant find any vendors who have it

its a pre-wax shampoo for foam guns

i get the IPA wipedowns, but im no pro, and having to go over the car 2-3 times with IPA is a hassle when i could already be well into claying in that time

 

I usually throw a couple ounces of Optimum power clean in my wash bucket and it works fine.

 

CWC or CWG with a couple of ounces of Zep Citrus or Power Clean will do the trick. I have MS Super Foam that I haven't been able to try out. I am planning on trying super foam with a couple of ounces of power clean.
