Roadtrash and I are going to be waxing his uncle's boat very soon + one other boat and we need to know exactly what we're getting into. They are newer boats so I figured we could do Collinite 920 on a LC White Pad followed but Collinite 925 by hand, or orbital probably. Anything we should be looking out for? Does that process seem reasonable? We also might be touching up the "chrome" or "stainless steel", whatever the railings are. Can this be done with P21S polishing soap and steel wool or is it more delicate generally on boats?

i tried to do my gf dads boat with menzerna and it did the job but probably over kill.
i want to get collinite stuff but first gona try duragloss boat cleaner thing since i have some of it. i would apply 925 by machine since it looks like similar to 845.
would be interested to know answer on that as well

im sure boat chrome is just like other chrom but i think boat railings are metal so its probably actual chrome and not fake chrome u see on platics on the cars.
i wouldnt use polishing soap if needed. maybe get collinite 850?

845 and 925 are the exact same product, found that out a few years ago. I'm shooting for a cleanup/wax and not real any correction. They are newer boats (within a few years) so a cleanup with 920 and then seal with 925 should be enough. 850 sounds like a good idea though. I wonder if it's possible to use it with steel wool.

I'm thinking LC white with the cleaner and then a wax/sealant pad with 925. The equivalent to a black DD pad.
