I tackled a simple wash and wax of the other half's '03 Corolla tonight. The headlamps started getting a little rough. I brought out the Makita, a small orange CCS pad (4" or so), and some of the aforementioned product. Both lamps were in similar condition previously. Can't really see in the "before" photo, but head on the lamps were Very hazy and cloudy. Results, MAGIC! They are not perfect, but for lamps that will probably re-haze in the future, a job well done. And it took me say, 20-30 seconds per lamp.
Yep, 203 is amazing for headlights! It's always seems to be leaving light holograms on paint though for me, unless it is completely broken down, which is a PITA because it seems to have a long work time sometimes. Sometimes it breaks down in 1 minute, sometimes in 4. I can't figure it out.
I'm sure you know this already, but you can drastically slow the time down in which they haze by keeping a good sealant on them for the UV protection.
Power finish is a great polish most of the time...specially for things like what you did. As for paint correction, I still can't beat sip/super finish combo. Headlights look great
fromy my experience with 203, I always work it until you can tell its dry and virtually clear. Sometimes it may appear to flash a little quicker than one like, then I mist some distilled water to increase the work time.
