Pound of Pinnacle clay is NOT NOT NOT a pound

Yeah so i ordered a pound of pinnacle ultra poly clay to last me a fair while. well when I got it it came like this



scale zero'd out


but then I put it on my small scale and it only comes out to 14.3 oz thats almost 2 oz short, a pretty significant amount IMHO, had it been 15.7 or something like that I would let it go. but i think they need to be aware of my dissapointment I'm not looking for anything for free or anything like that but c'mon almost 2 oz gone, thats enough for a touch up on my car.

 

That sucks!

Do you have another scale to try just in case? Or have a calibration weight?

I had already calibrated that before opening my mouth, I'm not one to talk down on a company unless I have proof.

Didn't say that on the page i ordered from, or is this some kind of universal thing i just don't know about?

i was just kidding around but none the less i would be pissed. and give a/g a call im sure they will take care of you no problem

 

Did you call and tell them it's short?

 

somebody in shipping bamboozeled your clay perhaps??

 

like I said its all sealed, and the containers are marked 8oz. I called autogeek when after I weighed it but they were closed

 

let us know how u make out. call them tomorrow....

 

that sucks. I hope they don't weight these bars in the containers and claim it to be 16 oz

 

Sadly I bet that is exactly what they do, and claim to give you a "pound" of product.

 

that wouldnt be right.. definitly call them ... and tell them to stick another chunk in a bag and send it to you. i dont like when my fellow forum members get screwed... :crash:

 

Interesting find. I wonder how my clays weigh in...
