Posting from a BB?

How do you guys post on here, using a BlackBerry phone?

I tried it last week, and I couldn't post.

I tried posting on another message board I belong to and had no problems.

I also have problems viewing the full page on a couple of forums.

Any solution to that?

What exactly are you doing and what's happening? I'm posting from my BB right now. Sometimes you won't see the post until you refresh the page on your BB.

 

OK. I pulled up this thread which I could see fine. Scrolled down and started typing in the quick reply box.
Clicked on post quick reply and a window popped up that said "you must enter a title/subject!"

 

What browser are you using to do this with? I post from my ? every day.

 

Instead of going to the quick reply box, hit "post reply" instead and type away and see what happens, that should work. I believe for the quick reply you have to enter a subject, which is actually not quick. Lol.

 

I am using whatever browser is on the phone. Service is verizon.

i tried that and it still asks for a title/subject. if i need to enter a title everytime, what should i type?

 

FWIW I just got this phone not even 2 weeks ago from one of my jobs. I have no problems checking my email, and send receive work related emails. I have never had a phone before where I could browse the web, so this is new to me.

 

Also, under options and Browser configuration make sire you have "Blackberry" under Browser Identification.

 

OK. It was already set at that.

 

I know there is something Im missing or not doing right or some setting in the phone I dont know about.

 

Hmmm! That's strange. Let me see if I can replicate that issue by changing some settings, but I don't think it has to do with the phone setting.

 

I just remembered. I once had the same issue trying to post from my computer, so it has nothing to do with the Blackberry. I can't remember how I solved it though, but it was something I was doing.

I can't change the service provider or the phone. This is a phone provided by one of my jobs. They pay for it and supplied the phone as well.

I'll have to try the login thingy later.

 

I'll have to try that later on. How do I clear the cookies? I'll have to stop by Verizon next week if I can't get this figured out.
