This car was done a while ago but did not have time to do the write up untill now.. sorry about that, but here it is anyway:)

The car came out to the detailing garage in good conditions:

    Just a little bit dirty:

    Some swirling as expected:

Some more heavy scratches on the front fender:

    Very pleased:

    P21s smells........mmmmmmmmm nice:

    SV blue clay - mild:

Masked up and ready for some compounding:

Joachim also dropped by to clean his Lamborghini rims:) :

    Then some obscure reflections:

Bernie's trying to sneek up from behind:

sorry about that.. let's get back to the GT3:

    Panels were messured with PTG:

    Re-painted:

Started out with some mild compounds at first and ended up with orange scholl (medium hard) combined with S03Gold(heavy cut). Slowing down on the rpm's in the end left somewhat a pretty shine surface and also "reduced" some of the holos on this stage:

    50/50:

As I've seen before on Porsche original paint it feels rather sticky, especially the more cut you add to the paint:

Prior to orange scholl and S03G:

    After I believe:

A small pot of Zymol Vintage was used to hold machine polish propper on this areas:

    50/50:

    Bernhard keepin it real again:

Some sticker residue was removed from the roll-bar:

3M GPAC on a MF cloth did the trick:

    The chef:

Candle lights, beef and a red porsche in the garage equals one romantic evening;) Bernhards a little upset that he received the smallest piece here :

Back to the car.. Some heavy damages on the fender:

Compounded with wool and Scholl S03 Gold for a long while.. Wool pad to prevent the heating:

    then some:

    Inspection is important:

Wicked, love it how you boys just made an adventure out of it with people coming by and having some BBQ.

These details show everyone needs to lighten up a bit and have some fun with all this detailing nonsense!

    Fantastic work.

This was a very enjoyable write-up to read because you show the technical aspects of the work as well as the lighter moments which are fun to see. Who knew that a detailing shop could be such a romantic place :giggle:.

Your photography work is excellent with nice artistic qualities.

Great work on the car! But nothing beats the older green one you did a while back. I still think about that one.

The Zuffenhausen is really nice to work with. Glad you gave it some airtime.

One thing if I may, I am not crazy about the cover-ups on the headlamps. That car doesnt need cosmetics. Its a GT3! It doesnt matter what year it is. For me, the next time you detail that car please rip them off the car and give them back to the owner in a box - all broken up in pieces and say it happened when you were cleaning the wheels or something. Please? For me..

    Thanks again buddy. Joe D.

    Thanks mate:)

lol, don't have anything to give away.. The new version of P21 is with an improved smell, which is not a good thing.. Now it smells like "all" of the other stuff. (not like an old really bad fart)..

Thank you, nice to hear.. No point in making it to a sad story:)

    Thanks.

We have a very romantic detailing garage with long day and nights:hug:
Thank you on the photography comment:) Getting better there as well..

HAHA, that comment made me loose almost an hour on old montyP clips on youtube.. thanks:)

So you remember that one Joe:) Nice to hear.. The headlamp stuff is of course an individual preference that is well discussed about now I think.. Would never remove such a part, even if I really wanted to;-) But, maybe for you next time:)

    thank you:)

You be the judge of that:)

This was just a 25 hour detail in total, but thanks anyway:)
