Owner of this car (who is on here btw) contacted me via another forum to initially detail an Audi TT, closer to the date he changed this to his newer Porsche Caymen S. The car had a couple of stracted and many swirls and being black was very noticeable. As usual ill let the pics do the talking On arrival: Initially I rinsed the car, then worked at the arches/door shuts etc with APC and then Wheels with Bilberry Wheel cleaner. then I snowfoamed the car with CG Citrus Snowfoam, rinsed then snowfoamed again, rinsed, washed with Swissvax Car Bath and then rinsed, followed with Clayed with Swissvax Paint Rubber, detarred with Autosmart Tardis and treated to Iron Cut, then rinsed and washed again and rinsed and dried (phew!) Once dried on closer inspection the swirls were a lot more noticeable: some paint depth readings taken with both PD8 and Posi, some readings showing respray. Taped up the car and onto the correction, for this I used the following: CP rotary 3M FCP 3M Ultrafina Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Pro CG Hex Pads (Various cuts) To further refine I used: Kestrel DA Menz Final Finish some 50/50 shots: Once corrected the paintwork was treated to Swissvax Cleaner Fluid and buffed off then 2 coats of Swissvax Shield (each coat left for various times before removal) The alloys were treated to Zaino Z2 and then Swissvax Autobahn and the Tyres with Swissvax Pneu. Glass treated with Swissvax Crystal the seals with Swissvax Seal Feed and door shuts to Swissvax Onyx Exhaust treated with Swissvax Metal Polish and ultrafine steel wool Interior was hoovered out and the leather treated with Swissvax Leather Cleaner and conditioner the finished product: some lovely reflective shots, someone asked if Sheild is "bling" I think so with these pics The owner was very happy with the results Regards Robert Prism Detailing
I'm getting me some Swissvax Shield for my DailyDriver. I am not surprised the owner was happy with the results! Great job. Thanks, Joe D.
You will not be disappointed with Sheild, I have already decribed it as the hidden gem within the Swissvax range of waxes and love it
looking good man. didn't even know that swissvax made metal polish. That's for the heads up on that. Great work on another fine piece of machinery.
