Couple of weeks ago took a trip up north (Aberdeen, Scotland) to work on this Porsche Cayenne, was a little worried due to the weather and road conditions as i was hearing roads were being closed for snow. But i ventured up and arrived at 10pm, so an early night to start to the car next day. The weather was not perfect, but the owner informed be he had underground heating in the garage (RESULT).

    So here is the detail:

How the car looked when i arrived:

So started by rinsing it then onto the alloys, worked with Surfex APC for the tyres and Bilberry for the wheels:

Surfex APC was also used for the Arches:

and on the door shuts, petrol cap and engine bay:

All were rinsed, then onto the Snowfoam :D aggrigated with detailing brush round crevises.

Washed with Duragloss 902, two bucket method and a Dodo Juice Wookie Fist wash mitt then rinsed again.

The car was detarred with Tardis, then clayed, using Swissvax car rubber and CG Luber:

(Clay bar looked worse than this at times)

Dried using Carwashwax dryer and finally wiped over with luber and a microfiber.

Some damage inflected by another valeter :( (We wont mention names!) and there is a lot more to the vinyl

Then some pics of the paint defects (Swirls/Holograms etc)

So into the garage and some paint readings:

Then onto the correction. I used various products, 3M FCP/Ultrafina, Megs 105, Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Pro on various CG Hex-Logic pads, some nice 50/50 shots:

    and after:

Once the correction was finished, wiped down with Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite and waxed with Dodo Juice Supernatural

The interior was cleaned with Surfex APC, hoovered, leather cleaned with Swissvax Leather Cleaner and windows cleaned with CG Streak Free Window Cleaner.

The Wheels were treated with Swissvax Pneu and alloys to Swissvax Autobahn.

The brushed alloy trim was treated with Brillant metal step one and two.

The exhaust was treated to Swissvax Metal polish and aggrigated with steel wool.

Then engine bay was treated to CG Silk Shine Dressing.

    And the end results:

on the way home the snow was interesting with cars abandoned all over the place, pulled into the garage, gives you an idea how bad it was:
