Porsche 928 successor rendered by Wild-Speed It is no secret that Porsche is planning a Coupe and Cabriolet versions of the Panamera. The car is being referred also as a successor to the front-engined Porsche 928, which is the only sports car to have ever won the European Car of The Year competition back in 1978. 61,056 units were built between 1979-1995. Here’s an interesting rendering by Teamspeed member Wild-Speed of what the successor to the 928 could look like. He clearly states that he does not expect Porsche to release it this way, but still an interesting concept. In addition to mixing design elements from 928 and Panamera, he also got inspiration from Porsche Panamericana and the 996 GT1.
