    Hi,

Is it a good idea to polish my heallight and taillight with Merz Nano polish on a sonus white pad via the flex 3401.

If not, what do you suggest?

    Thanks

It works fine. Should clear them up a bit and remove light marring.

I don't know about using a flex, because I have always used a rotary to polish out the lights, but it usually makes them nice and clear.

I treat headlights just like the paint and like sneek I too polish it using my Metabo.

Just treat the headlights and tail lights like you would any other plastic peace, you don't really need to go to aggressive, specially with the rotary.

I use my UDM with a 4 inch orange pad with Plast X, followed by 4 inch white pad with 106.

I usually go with my PC and a 4" orange/white pad with the right polish. It's funny though because I have PlastX but I never really use it.

Yeah, it was the same for me until I saw a few posts of headlight polishings and the results were amazing. Give it a try with an orange pad, I think you will like it.

Plastic polishing works fine with the PC.

On the last few cars I've done, I've used the exact same process on the lights as I have on the paint, and have been very pleased with the results.

    edit: woot! :100post:
