Hey everyone, I've been out of the game for a while and wanted to inquire with regard to polishing glass. To be quite specific, it's actually polishing for a large aquarium tank for my girlfriend. There are some stains in the glass, ones that can't be removed by CLR or distilled white vinegar, so I was wondering if I should be polishing it any differently than what we usually do for paint. Any thoughts, suggestions, or questions? Thanks in advance!
Might try a dedicated water spot remover before polishing. If you do need to polish, Carpro rayon pads and Ceri glass will do the trick. Welcome back and good luck.
I've used AutoGlym Car Glass Polish with my DA with great success. If using the Carpro stuff, be aware that it may cause hazing which will need to be removed with a foam pad.
What would you suggest as a dedicated water spot remover? I'll check out the Carpro rayon pads and Ceri glass. Thanks! I think I only have the Makita and Metabo as I loaned my DA to Aaron but I haven't got it back from him. Maybe Carpro is the way to go...
