I was recently contacted by a member of another forum to remove the swirls and holograms put on his car by a body shop. The body shop resprayed the whole car and left some pretty nasty swirls.

My question is, what cautions do you guys take? Just try not to be so aggressive?

    Just looking for some input.

I'd feel better if I had a paint gage myself. Do what you normaly would do Start with The least aggressive method...

I wouldn't wax or seal for the first 60-90 days, but polishing is ok and so is glazing. I think what Buddy said is correct as well.

Thats what I figured. I'll check with my ptg and just go as I would normally.

As the paint is relatively fresh it may still be quite easy to work with. You may find that 106FF on a green or white pad may clean it up if its just holograms from their polishing.
