Polisher for <$150?

I'm looking to pick up a starter polisher and saw a deal for the PorterCable 7424XP for $120 at ToolsPlus.com and Amazon.com

Is this a pretty good deal for the price? I figure it's a reputable brand, but I want to make sure I'm at least getting my money's worth for a while until I can afford the creme-de-la-creme.

 

are you looking for a DA or rotary?

 

What's the difference? I don't see DA in the acronym list

 

DA = Dual Action. Spins and oscillates.

Rotary = just spins.

 

If you don't know the difference between a rotary and a DA. I would suggest you get a DA :giggle:

You might want to just go to Loews and get it. They will have to order it, but they do not charge you for shipping. Plus should you have a problem with the unit, Loews will return it with your recipe and get you a new one. Same goes for Meguiars 105/205. Order thru Autozone. Free Shipping there also :headbang:

Get the Meguiars G2 Dual Action polisher.... I recently added it to my polisher arsenal and am very glad I did!
