I was thinking of Menz 203 and if needed 85rd, will a DA be necessary to finish with. This goes to anyone with experience doing a GTR already

It's pretty soft paint so start off with the least abrasive. I corrected some moderate scratches on a black once recently with a finishing pad and finishing polish... cut like butter. I'll be going back next week to correct the rest of the car and will stick with the same combo. Some piccies >>

i corrected my solid black GTR with 2 passes of 203S on white CCS using my DA

slowed it down at the end of the pass to finish, and the paint came up really well

just a note, have plenty of MFs on hand, the paint gets super soft once heated

i tried going over the panel with 85RD but it was sticking on the paint and i was enducing more marring struggling to get it off, so i sticked with 203S which didnt dust up and was easy to remove

the soft paint is both an advantage and disadvantage, given the amount of attention the car receives when parked, each time i wash it i find scuffs and scrapes on the edges of my front bumper where people have brushed against it - it's shitting me, but also means i setup my halogen, and can remove them easily by hand app of 203S

going to get the whole front bumper clear bra'd now though
