Old school people have been doing it for a long time now. In fact, every time I detail a car my neighbor from down the block always walks by and tells me to use lemon pledge after polishing.
I have used it on the chrome of my bike it does ok, harley gloss is better. The pledge wipes are nice to carry you can clean the bugs off the chrome and headlight.
