Hooters, how do you know about hooters pirex? What is hooters international? hahahahaha

What kind of pads are you looking for? I got some Meg's, Lake Country, Edge, only one 3M glue pad and it's 8inch....hmmmmm...I think tha's about all I have for pads that is...The megs polishing pad works great.

lol...I like that 1-800 Chris hahahaha

Hey why don't you bring the car over tomorrow? I'll be finishing up the vehicle I'm working on tonight and the owner will come and pick it up tomorrow as well.

Let me know, you know it's supposed to snow tomorrow right? Well it will start snowing tonight.

You'll like the Meg's pads they work great, I've been using the Meg's Polishing pad with Menzerna for aquite some time now and they seem to go hand and hand as though they were meant for each other.

What are you going to use to polish?

I was thining of poing with the menzerna i have. I have the nano and intensive polish, I will use that or megs 80/83, just means i have to go pick up 83. im not sure though,
    most likley menzerna
then some lite cleanse, and finnaly Vintage

Go ahead use the Menzerna, but keep in mind Menzerna dosen't seem to like the cold climate....so where are you going to detail? Outside? Or in side? What I've found works good is I place my Menzerna bottle, well I use those Meg's bottles and I place it by the heater for a few minuets. That worms it up and it dosen't act up, only once has Menzerna acted up on me and it was irritating.

So where ever your polishing try to keep the Menzerna bottle worm.

I was planing on heading up to the coin wash (oh yeah justin im coming up :rollinglaugh:) I hope menzerna will work. Its heated so it should work, the only issue I have is that its a little moist there. I hope this wont casue a problem with the menzerna.

Ohh quick question. When you buff with menzerna which one do you use, and do you use a single polish or multiple ones?

ohh and before I forget. The auto parts store down south has megs foam applicator pads on sale. I got 8 of them (2 packs) for just under 15 bucks. thats less then 2 bucks an applicator :righton:

I was at the Dodge dealership yesterday (a full topic on that coming soon) and saw that they sell Megs pads there!

Meg's pads are great...but again...this is coming form the Megs fanboy. I really like the Maroon pads (Part number W7006 and W7000, I forget the part number for the threaded one). I wouldn't reccomend them for the D/A, but they will probs work on the DA. The foam is a bit more firm and the velcro is as good as their lack country counter parts. Let me guess...you paid in the 30 range? I think that Carlson has then for a bit less. :) I don't know many people who don't like the maroon pad. IMO it is their best one, but I love the 8006s too.

Seeing as your going to do your Nissan I would say start with the Nano, if I'm not mistaken Nano = 106FF right? Well if it's not sorry, but start with the lease abrasive. Nissans have some what of a soft clear, well at least that's what I noticed on the Nisan that I detailed.

Now if your going up to Justins place, it should be okay I'd be curious though let me know kno whow it behaves. It should work for you.....one last thing don't forget your camera to take pictures ;)

hmm, I wouldn't use the maroon pad on your Altima if I were you, unless it was thrashed.

Nissans paints are all over the map. Some of them are super hard and some are super soft. Most of them are soflt like Nica said, but some of the newest ones should have Ceramic clears as well. 106FF is a pretty bipolar product! It works good on hard paint and soft paint. Probably use it on a W8006 polishing pad (yellow). I do believe Nano is 106.

I get the 4 packs for $5.00 even, but ya...I can't get them that often

Why do you need Hooters in Norway when there are tons of good looking women walking the streets?
